The agreement
These terms apply to coaching provided by JS Commitment. They sit alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which nothing here removes or limits.
Who we are
JS Commitment is a coaching business operated by its two owners, Jeremy and Sam. Contact is contactjscommitment@gmail.com.
What we provide
Coaching covers training, nutrition and accountability, built around the individual client. Both owners are involved in every client's coaching.
- Online coaching. Available anywhere in the world.
- In person coaching. Melbourne only.
- A training plan built for you, and adjusted as you go.
- Nutrition guidance, adjusted as you go.
- A weekly check in, reviewed by us.
- Direct contact with us across the week.
Minimum term
Coaching runs on a 12 week minimum. This is the shortest period over which the work can be judged, and it is stated before anyone signs up.
Fees
Current rates are set out when you apply and are confirmed on the intake call before anything is agreed. Fees are in Australian dollars.
The billing mechanism is not settled. Decide whether fees are charged weekly, monthly, or as the full 12 week block in advance, and whether a deposit or joining fee applies. State it here in plain terms once decided.
Refunds, pauses and cancellation
Nothing here affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or is not fit for its purpose, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of what any policy says.
The refund, pause and cancellation policy is not settled. Decide the notice period for cancelling, whether a block can be paused for illness, injury or travel and for how long, and what happens to fees already paid. This section is not legally sufficient until that is written down.
Your responsibilities
Coaching depends on what you do between sessions. You agree to give accurate information about your health, training history and circumstances, to tell us if any of that changes, and to follow the plan as agreed or tell us when you cannot.
Health and safety
We are coaches, not medical practitioners. Nothing we provide is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Get clearance from a doctor before starting if you have an existing condition, an injury, or any reason to think exercise may not be safe for you.
Stop and seek medical attention if you feel unwell while training. Tell us about any injury or condition that affects what you can do.
Results
We state what we do. We do not guarantee what will happen to you. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your consistency, your circumstances and your health. Anything a past client says about their own experience is their experience, not a promise about yours.
Your information
We collect what you give us in the application form and on the intake call, and use it to coach you and to contact you. We do not sell it. Your application is handled through our form provider, and call bookings through our scheduling provider.
We will not publish your name, photograph or results without your written permission. Ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold, or for it to be deleted.
This site also uses Meta's advertising tools, which set cookies and tell Meta when someone visits a page, submits an application or books a call. That is used to measure our advertising and to show ads to people like you. You can limit this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the version that applies to you is the one in place when you signed up, unless you agree otherwise. The date below shows when this page was last updated.
